A small group of books on the world of artists, art dealers, and art collectors. This includes two crown octavo copies of My Mother’s Eyes: Holocaust Memories of a Young Girl by Anna Ornstein with illustrations by Stewart Goldman (Cincinnati: Emmis Books, copyright 2004, 174 pages). Other titles include Framed: America’s Art Dealer to the Stars Tells All, by Tod Volpe (2003); Artful Partners: Bernard Berenson and Joseph Duveen by Colin Simpson (1986); and a signed copy of The Collected Works of S. Arthur Spiegel, an autobiographical book on the life of a Federal judge and plein air painter who lived in Cincinnati, published in 2014 and inscribed in ink to book’s prior owners.
