A pair of vintage Player’s cigarette tins. Both tins feature a sailor logo with the words ’Player’s Navy Cut’; the light blue tin is labeled ’Player’s; Navy Cut Cigarettes; ‘Mild’,’ while the darker blue tin is labeled ’Player’s; Navy Cut Cigarettes; ‘Medium’.’ Both tins are marked above the hinge, ‘Manufactured by Imperial Tobacco Co. of Canada, Limited, Montreal, Canada; Successor to John Player’s & Songs, England.’

Condition

- some scuff marks, tarnish and pencil markings; partial excise label on “medium” tin; general wear consistent with age.
