Vintage Kuba Tribe Style Mask And Two Carved Bowls
Item Details
An African mask and two carved bowls. The mask is carved to show a face with eye slits and is decorated in the style of the Kuba tribe of the Congo, with glass beads and cowry shells forming a geometric pattern on burlap. Also included are two acacia wood bowls: a carved bowl in an oval shape with a fish carved as a handle atop a dome lid with a cushion lid and an oval wooden bowl with a carved geometric lid; both would have been used for food or ceremonial use.
Condition
- some cracks, chips and scratching to the items.
