A collection of Alfred Meakin Birds of America English China. The china have an pattern of flowers and leaves on them, and are then painted with a bird on a branch or plant. The set includes eight saucers, eight tea cups, eight Small plates, nine medium plates, and eight large plates. The china is marked, ‘Reproduction From the Elephant Folio Edition of Audubon’s Birds of America, Alfread Meakin England’. Each plate is numbered and also has the name of the bird represented on it. Please note, buyer is advised to arrive at pickup with appropriate containers and packing materials to transport this heavy, fragile item.
