Item Details
A small collection of art survey and artist index related books. This consists of the two-volume set Picture History of World Art edited by Valentin Denis and T. E. de Vries, published New York: Harry N. Abrams, Inc., ca. 1965, in linen binding with slipcase. Also included is Mallett’s Index of Artists and Supplement, by Daniel Trowbridge Mallett, New York: Peter Smith, 1948. Hendrik Willem Van Loon’s The Arts, 1937, rounds out this selection.
Condition
- shelfwear throughout; Vol. II of Picture History has small tear to title page and both volumes have prior owner’s blind stamp and some light toning;
