An antique sterling silver Birmingham pocket watch. This pocket watch features an unmarked outer case, an off-white dial, black Roman numeral hour indicators, and silver tone hands. Marks include the rampant lion for English sterling assay, the Birmingham city anchor. Date code appears to indicate 1836 (old English font, letter N), and maker marks J.W. correspond to the silversmith Joseph Wilmore, first registered in 1832.
