After Henri Matisse Limited Edition Giclee "Sleeping Model"
Item Details
A 2002 limited edition giclee after an original work titled Sleeping Model by Henri Mattise (French, 1869-1954). In sparse linework it depicts a quarter-length portrait of a nude woman, with short curling hair, lying on her side with her arms crossed against her chest. It is signed in the plate to the bottom right corner ‘Henri. Mattise’. This print is presented with a white mat with a gold liner, under glass in a rose gold tone wood composite frame, wired for hanging. A certificate of authenticity by the St. Petersburg Collection is attached on verso that numbers this to seventeen out of an edition of 300.
