Phaidon Edition Folio Books on Etruscan and Italian Art

Item Details

A group of five folio-sized Phaidon Edition books illustrated with black and white photographic plates. Each features an oatmeal color linen binding, and was published by the Phaidon Press Ltd., London or Oxford University Press, with publication dates ranging from 1937 – 1945. Titles include Etruscan Sculpture, Botticelli, Donatello, Leonardo Da Vinci and Bellini.

Condition

- Da Vinci volume has large stain to front board; Etruscan volume has warped front board in top corner; Botticelli has some foxing to pastedowns and toning to binding with pages pulling loose in first 20 or so pages; Bellini exhibits some warping to boards due to water damage. Each has a numbered tag affixed to lower edge of spine with adhesive tape.
