Vintage Handmade Appalachian Dulcimer
Item Details
A vintage handmade Appalachian dulcimer. The teardrop-shaped instrument has small circular soundholes to either side of its bridge, and three metal tuners. Appalachians dulcimers, members of the zither family, first appeared in the early 19th century. The traditional Folk instruments have also been utilized in songs by Aerosmith, Joni Mitchell and John Lennon, among others.
