Framed Oil on Canvas Sack Painting of a Floral Arrangement

Item Details

A vintage framed oil on canvas painting of a floral still life. A variety of colorful flowers are arranged in a globe vase against a dark background. On the back of the painting is visible a partial woven label ‘Maybell’. The frame is made of gesso and wood.

Condition

Frame is missing pieces and some damaged areas have been repainted in gold. There are creases in the canvas at top right. Painting is dirty. Wire is attached to hang vertically when composition of painting is intended to be read horizontally.
