Item Details
An offset lithographic reproduction print after the original watercolor illustration by well-listed children’s book illustrator Tasha Tudor (1915 – 2008), titled A Brighter Garden. The image depicts a young girl and her mother picking flowers from the garden on a bright, sunny day. In the foreground, a mother corgi supervises her three young pups as they frolic among terracotta flower pots. Artist signature is printed in plate to the lower right, but is mostly concealed by oval-cut mat. This print is mounted under glass in a beveled wood frame with a speckled gold tone finish and a wire to the verso.
Condition
- print is sun-faded. Discoloration across print and mat. Finish of frame is lightly worn.
