Jean Sariano Intaglio Etching with Aquatint "For Gods Sake"
Item Details
An intaglio etching with aquatint on deckle edge paper titled For Gods Sake by contemporary artist Jean Sariano (Algeria, b. 1943), created 1979. Depicted is a large ‘X’ with castle-like ornamentations along the top and a cartoon face. The ‘X’ attaches to the word ‘Eros,’ and a single blue cloud is placed to the upper right corner. This piece is numbered 254 out of an edition of 300. The piece is titled to the center print margin; signed and dated to the lower right, all in graphite. Housed behind glass on a white floating mat and black frame.

- minor wear to edges of the frame.
