A vintage Philippines Philippines Maguindanao Matito Kris style double edged heavy blade with twine wrapped handle and decorative guard. Handle has had repair work done to it. Maguindanao refers to ‘the people of the flooded plains’ in the Mindano region of the Philippines.
Condition
- with heavy oxidation and tarnish to the blade with indications of use. Wrapped handle has been re-glued with the pommel is loose
