This collection includes a two volume set of 200 Years: A Bicentennial Illustrated History of the United States, edited by Joseph Newman and published by U.S. News & World Report in 1973; these books are bound in one-quarter pressed maroon paper and red cloth boards and contained in a slipcase. Also included in this set is a hardcover edition of The American Heritage History of the Great West, edited by Alvin M. Josephy and published by American Heritage Publishing in 1965; a hardcover edition of The Story of Our Country by Clarence L. Ver Steeg, published by Harper & Row in 1965; and more.

- light edge wear and scratches throughout; minor page discoloration; bowed corners, tearing to spine ends, interior inscription, and considerable water damage and staining to lower right edge of 1965 edition of The Story of Our Country; bowed corners, damage to spine edges, inscription to top page edges, and library decal to 1967 edition of The Story of Our Country; interior inscription to The Great West; 200 Years volumes have some scuffs to slipcase paste-down, heavy wear to gilt lettering on spines, lightly shaken binding, and interior inscriptions.
