A pair of Carreras ‘Black Cat Virginia Cigarettes’ tins. Both tins have a similar design to the tan lids. They feature an image of a black cat with the words ‘Black Cat Cigarettes/ Extra Large/ Note imprint ’Extra Large’on each cigarette. See that this green band is around all packings/ Virginia (Carreras) Mild.’ They both have green bases. The interior of one lid reads ‘Manufactured From The Mildest – Matured Virginia Tobacco/ Carreras Limited/ Arcadia Works, Hampstead Road, N.W.I.’
