An America’s Musical Heritage vintage record set by Burl Ives. This record set, released in 1963, includes six records, all examining different eras of American folk music. Featured album themes include ‘Traveling Song: Sailing Free & Adventuring West,’ ‘New Ballads: Reporting the American Revolution & the War of 1812,’ ‘The Big Country: Cowboys, Indians, Badmen & Settlers’ and more. Also featured with this set is a hardcover edition of the accompanying Burl Ives Sing-Along Song Book: A Treasury of American Folk Songs and Ballads; originally printed in 1963, now out of print.
