A Victorian – era Plantation desk in poplar with beautiful reflective burled veneer on the front and heavily turned legs. This striking piece has a tall desk top that allows for a long drop down writing surface and ample space for various size pigeon holes. Under the writing surface is a single pencil drawer with brass pull and escutcheon. The veneer has aged well naturally thickening and cracking with symmetry on the bottom of the drop leaf front. This slight cracking adds character to the piece lending to that popular distressed style.

Condition

Condition consistent with age. Cracks in veneer add to the character of the piece. Best to preview.
