A small collection of books by and about Howard Pyle. This group includes a total of three books, consisting of two written by Pyle and one archival book. Featured are a hardbound, Brandywine Edition of The Story of Sir. Launcelot and his Companions by Howard Pyle published in 1933 by Charles Scribner’s Sons and a hardbound copy of Men of Iron by Howard Pyle published in 1919 by Harper & Brothers. Also included is a hardbound copy of Howard Pyle: A Record of His Illustrations and Writings compiled by Willard Morse and Gertrude Brinckle published in 1921 by the Wilmington Society of Fine Arts.

Condition

- the copy of Launcelot and his Companions has some minor surface scuffs, pages yellowing, and light foxing; remaining two books have worn hardcovers with some color fading and discoloration, pages yellowing, and some tears to the edges.
