Alphonse Mucha Estate Lithograph on Paper "Au Quartier Latin"

An estate lithograph on paper after 1898 original watercolor and ink painting titled Au Quartier Latin by well-listed artist Alphonse Maria Mucha (1860 – 1939), produced under the supervision of his son in 1982. This Art Nouveau print depicts a reclined young woman with towers and wings on her long hair, bare-chested and dressed in a graduate orange flowing gown while holding and surrounded by a miniature multitude of well dress people. The female subject is situated against an arch with the title in orange among a turquoise and brown ornate delineated background. This certified poster was produced by a printer under the supervision of Jiri Mucha, son of the artist, onto satin finish rag paper from hand-drawn plates. The print is one in an edition of 5000. Presented behind glass and housed in a wood frame with a brushed green and black finish with decorative white and golden tone leaf-like embellishments. There is an informational gallery label affixed to the verso.
