A signed artist proof serigraph on paper titled Freeport fishing boats by listed Canadian artist Max Epstein (1932 – 2002), dated 1980. This piece depicts a vibrant wharf scene with multiple fishing boats stranded in the waters contiguous to a wooden port; with distant boat houses and flying birds situated beneath a prominent orange sun within stripped colorful skies in the background. This work is signed and dated by the artist in graphite to the lower right, titled to the lower center and marked ‘A/P’ in graphite to the lower left corner. Presented behind glass, beneath white and blue double matting and housed in a simple wood frame with an off-white finish. There is a gallery label affixed to the verso.
