Antique Louis XV Style Twin Headboard, Foot Board, and Frame

An antique Louis XV style headboard and foot board. Comprised of fruitwood and maple veneers, the serpentine body consists of inlaid marquetry and parquetry design, decorated with carved wooden appliques. The inlaid parquetry creates a diamond pattern across the front of the headboard and foot board. Oval marquetry decorates the front with an acanthus scroll and leaf design, framed in faux beaded edging. Wood bed frame side is stamped T & Co. on one side.
