Item Details
An abstract oil painting on composite board, created in 1963, signed ‘Nielsen’. This narrow vertical work features smudges and patches of various earth tones accented with reds, bright greens, and yellows. With a variety of textures and paint application, the artist depicts a non-objective composition. The work is signed and dated in black to the lower left. It is presented in a wood frame with a linen mat painted lime green, and a metallic fillet; all areas of the frame are splattered with lime green paint.
