A vintage tin advertising sign for Champagne Velvet Beer, featuring an offset lithograph reproduction of a painting by well-listed American illustrator Henry Hintermeister (1897 – 1972). The piece depicts a pantless fisherman drying his wet clothes over a small fire after falling into water, as two fellow fishermen laugh nearby and snap a photograph. The Champagne Velvet logo is printed to the upper right corner, and several bottles of the product sit on the ground near the man. The sign has a yellowed printed border and is signed in-plate to the lower left. Printed by American Art Works in Coshocton, Ohio.
