An antique original 1888 stone lithographic poster printed by The Strobridge Lithograph Company of Cincinnati, New York and London. The poster was designed as a template for advertising content of choice, and depicts a large blank field bordered in red piping, with a beautiful rendering of a bull’s head in a circular cartouche to the lower left. Printer name and copyright date are printed across lower margin. This poster is unframed, mounted on acid-free conservation canvas substrate.

Condition

- condition consistent with age. Light foxing stains and age discoloration throughout. Loss and tears of margins have been professionally restored with trimming. Poster is dry-mounted to conservation canvas substrate.
