Vintage Chain Mesh Purses Including Whiting & Davis Sterling Purse
Item Details
A pair of vintage mesh purses. Included is a sterling silver mesh purse. The purse features square body with fringe along the bottom edge and a snap closure with blue glass cabochon along the top. The purse is marked ‘Whiting & Davis Co. Mesh Bags’ and ‘Sterling & 1-10 14K’ along the interior. Also included is a mesh purse with a triangle design along the exterior and a tassel at the bottom. The purse has a gold filled kiss closure at the top and is marked ‘Gold Filled’ and ‘Soldered Mesh’ to the interior. The approximate weight of the sterling purse, inclusive of all non-sterling material, is 3.02 ozt.
