An acrylic painting on canvas by Richard Mantia titled Madam Poppy Salinger. It depicts a youthful Poppy, the proprietor of the Bastide Rose, a noted French bed and breakfast, wearing a white dress and sitting in a white armchair. She rests her chin on a hand bent at the wrist, while stretching one arm out to her side. ‘Mantia’ is signed on the bottom right. The piece is set in a gold tone wooden frame with floral accent trim. Hangs from a wire on the reverse.
