An assortment of vintage literature. This small group includes three books. Featured is a hardbound copy of L published in 1921 by Cosmopolitan, a hardbound copy of No Life for a Lady by Agnes Morley Cleaveland with illustrations by Edward Borein published in 1941 by Houghton Mifflin, and a reprinted hardbound copy of Japonica by Sir Edwin Arnold with illustrations by Robert Blum original published in 1891 by C. Scribner’s Sons.
Condition
- to poor; “Japonica” has loose binding and spine, edgewear throughout, color fading and fraying to cover and spine, pages are printed unevenly, pages yellowing; “No Life for a Lady” and “A Tale of Two Cities” have worn dust jackets with wear and tear throughout; edge wear and bent corners, somewhat loose spine, page yellowing and discoloration throughout; general wear and tear throughout due to age.
