Pair of Antique Chinese Ceramic Sculptures of Guardian Lions
Item Details
A pair of antique Chinese ceramic sculptures of guardian lion, created in the late-19th or early-20th century. These guardian lions are finished with fahua style glaze. The bodies are finished with a turquoise color, the mains and tales in yellowish-green; and other details in aubergine. Both lions rest on pedestals and slightly turn their heads; one has its mouth open and bares its teeth. Both sculptures are unmarked.
