A hand knotted Heriz Serapi area rug. The rug features a central pendant medallion to the center in a palette of powder blue, deep red, light red, white, and cream that sits on top of a deep red field. The field is covered in floral guls and palmettes that is enclosed within four spandrels at each corner. The field is surrounded by a resolved border featuring a herati style border with floral stamps and geometric lines between each stamp with a cream fringe to either end. Unmarked.
