A vintage walnut Eastlake secretary with flame mahogany veneer inlays. This secretary style desk features tapered ball finials, a bowed cresting arch with bevel and sawtooth trim accent, flame mahogany veneer panel, scalloped bracket stiles, pierced cross design rail, and a drop down felted writing surface with hidden cubbies and drawers for organization; the drop down panel has shallow floral carved center panel, fluted accent carvings and flame mahogany veneer insert panels to frame out the door. Below the door, the secretary cabinet boasts of additional storage in the form of a drawer, a shelf, and a two doored cubby which have added details of ball and loop pulls, carved overlay veneers, carved doors and stiles; the unit rests on caster feet.
