A circa 1920 edition of Les Miserables. This hardback copy, written by Victor Hugo and published by Dodd, Mead and Company Publishers, features full color illustrations by Mead Schaeffer that accompany the text. This popular historical-fiction novel recounts the events leading up to the Paris Uprising of 1832. The cover is cloth bound in chocolate brown with a gold inlay of the title, author and illustrator. An emblem is stamped at its center.

Condition

- spine is slightly loose; discoloration present; personal inscription written in graphite on top of end page; pages are worn at edges.
