An antique mahogany bookcase on table The case features a molded cornice above a stylized, floral-carved frieze and a pair of astragal-glazed doors. The doors open to a shelved interior and the bookcase rests on a serpentine-front, two-drawer table. The stylized, floral-carved drawer fronts are fitted with brass knobs and it rises on square, tapered legs joined by cross-stretchers. The piece is further embellished with reeded stiles on the bookcase and foliate carvings on the front legs.
