1917 French Poster Advertising Irene Popard
Item Details
A vintage poster advertising a 1917 performance by the Irene Popard school at the Theatre D’Orleans in Paris. The poster is in French, and has a photograph of Popard dancing. Irene Popard (1884-1950) developed a style of movement called ‘Harmonic Gymnastics’, and was famous for opening the Popard School, still active today.
