Vintage Harvey Dunn Illustrated Books
Item Details
A collection of vintage Harvey Dunn illustrated books. Featured titles are My Lady of the Island by Beatrice Grimshaw published in 1916, John Barley Corn by Jack London published in 1913, and The Untamed by George Pattulo published in 1911. These three books are adorned with a clothbound cover and come with a fitted slipcase. Also included are Dead Men Tell No Tales and The Shadow of the Rope by E.W. Hornung. Both books feature a red clothbound cover with a gold gilt top lining. published in 1908 by Charles Scribner’s Sons of New York. Each book, not including The Untamed, features an original lithograph by Harvey Dunn.
Condition
- spine of cover is disconnected; loose binding; page discoloration; some foxing; cloth band is fraying; corners are rounded with worn egdes; general wear throughout due to age.
Dimensions
- measurements of single slipcase; each book measures roughly the same.
