Mid-century Schatz 1,000 Day German Clock. The clock was made in Germany by clock company Schatz & Sohne in the mid 20th century. It is a high-quality brass work torsion pendulum mechanical clock encased in a brass and plastic box and It keeps time with a torsion pendulum. The clock has a metallic gold tone clock face with gold tone hands. On the clock face, it reads “Schatz,” “1000 Day,” and “Made in Germany.” On the reverse of the clock box, it is engraved “Schatz & Sohne Made in Germany.” The original aluminum logo which reads in German, “Original Schatz Qualitatsuhr Triberg Schwarzwald.”

Condition

-fair to poor, amount of tarnishing on metal work of clock, chime is loose, not tested.
