Antique Cuban Cigar Advertising Thermometer

Item Details

An antique wood thermometer. This was produced as an advertising piece for Bernard Stahl a purveyor of Cuban cigars in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. The brass portion is etched with ‘Bernard Stahl & Co’s Havana Cigars’ as well as ‘Our Name And Brand A Guarantee of Quality’. The company was purchased in 1923. The piece has a beaded wood body and a brass plate with the thermometer attached.
