Published in New York by Harcourt, Brace and Company, this edition bears the copyright date of 1925 with no further marks denoting a later printing, as others have. This first American edition was published simultaneously with the British edition published by Hogarth Press, the publishing company owned by Virginia Woolf and her husband, Leonard. This volume is bound in orange cloth covered boards with the original affixed paper label on the spine. An ex-library copy.
