A power-loomed Kara Mar Karastan wool area rug. This Ivory Heriz rug features a center medallion comprised of madder red and indigo blue patterns. The primary border features a turtle pattern of alternating medallions in ivory, gold tone, and blue-gray with an indigo field. Ivory fringe adorns each end. The original tag is affixed to the underside. Woven in Belgium, the rug is marked ‘permanently mothproof’ and numbered RN 14837.
