A hand-knotted Persian area rug. The rug features an ornate pattern with a diamond within an oval to the central design in hues of salmon, ivory, cerulean blue and gold. The surrounding floral repeating pattern floral design are included in the same hues; all to a brick red background. The main border includes a repeating pattern of a fanned design. It has overcast edges and a short cotton fringe to each end.
