Stephen Sholinsky Limited Edition Lithograph on Paper "Frontispiece"

A limited edition lithograph on paper titled Frontispiece by listed artist Stephen Sholinsky (New York, b. 1938). This abstract lithograph exhibits a sunken relief impression around the edges of the shapes and colors. Circles and semi-circles are arranged together in a horizontal design across the composition, filled with a gradated tan background. The colors of the circles range from black, red, and yellow gradated to black. Horizontal black bands frame the upper and lower parts of the composition. In the lower margin, the work is numbered 59 out of an edition of 125; it is titled in the lower center and signed to the lower right by the artist in graphite. Attached to the verso is a printed document with a short biography of the artist and a tag with handwritten information about the work. Presented under glass in a simple wood frame, the print is double-matted with two shades of brown.
