Kimiko Kojima Limited Edition Serigraph on Paper "Koito Botan"

A limited edition serigraph on paper titled Koito Botan by artist Kimiko Kojima (Japanese, b.1942). Executed in 1978, this work depicts a Japanese woman with her left shoulder and breast exposed, featuring a floral tattoo. A large koi fish leaps from the end of the woman’s garment creating a wave. To the lower left corner, the piece is marked with its edition in graphite; the work is number 10 in an editon of 20. Within the lower margin, the print is signed and dated by the artist in graphite, also stamped in red. To the lower center and lower right is the artist’s name, printed in black ink. Housed behind glass in a blue double mat and wooden frame.

- to fair; flaking to black paint on frame; minor wrinkling to paper in the frame; water stains to the paper backing.
