Coca Cola "Sprite Boy" Cast Iron Coin Bank

Item Details

A cast iron coin bank. This piece is in the shape of the Sprite Boy, who was a mascot for the Coca-Cola company in the 1940s. The bank is a shaped bust of the character with the companies logo present on a bottle cap that is attached to the characters forehead with the coin slot present on the back of the head. A maker’s mark is present on the base of the bank but is eroded to the point that it is illegible.

Condition

- heavy wear and erosion to the base of the bank.
