A Christmas Kewpie 1973 collector plate and poster. The white china plate depicts a smiling santa, holding up ten Kewpie babies wrapped in red ribbon. The plate has the message ‘Let Joy be everywhere you are – Christmas 1973’ to the front. The art on the front is signed within the plate, ‘Rose O’Neill’. The back of the plate is marked ‘Kewpie Commemorative Edition – World Wide Arts, Inc. Cleveland, Ohio’. Included is a cardboard poster, printed with a Christmas tree from which a multitude of Kewpie babies dangle. The top of the poster is marked ‘Merry Christmas’, and the artwork is signed, within the print, ‘Rose O’Neill’.
