Item Details
Three original 1940s block relief and offset lithographic advertisement posters; two duplicates are promoting the famous Bill Lynch Shows, the other endorsing the Chemung County Fair. The Bill Lynch Show was the largest traveling carnival in Canada during the 1940s, run by business man and philanthropist William Lynch (1903–1972) of McNabs Island, Halifax, Nova Scotia. Proceeds made from ticket and merchandise sales were donated to various children’s charities. These posters are not framed, supported by a piece of foam core or cardboard and wrapped in clear plastic.
