A pair of vintage animal lithographs titled Lions: The Violence of Nature and Elk: The Majesty of Nature by Mordi Gassner (1899-1995). Gassner was born in New York, but died in Drakes Branch, Virginia and is most known for his murals, etchings, and paintings. These prints are titled, dated 1947 and hand signed by the artist in pencil to the lower margins. Each also features a personalized message. These prints are set in a single mat and present in classic wood frames.

Condition

Light wear to frames, consistent with age and use.
