Vintage Kittinger Desk

A vintage Kittinger desk. Sometimes referred to as Spiro Agnew’s desk, this federal style double pedestal mahogany desk from Kittinger Furniture Company of Buffalo is crafted in a glossy finish. It has brass tone Chippendale drawer pulls. Each pedestal of the desk has four drawers of dovetail construction and there is a flip open center drawer fitted with compartments for various writing implements. The desk is embellished with decorative molding on the sides and back. It bears the maker’s mark Kittinger Buffalo on the inside of the top drawer.

Condition

-some marks and wear on top and front; desk is missing a bale from center drawer pull; scuffs around keyhole and base.
