Dorothy Markert Limited Edition Serigraph on Paper "Early Chautauqua"

A limited edition serigraph on paper titled Early Chautauqua by American artist Dorothy Markert. Depicted are three images pertaining to Chautauqua, New York around the late 1800s. In the upper left a header for the Chautauqua Assembly Herald is present with the date 1894 while the upper right has a depiction of a Victorian style home. The image in the lower left appears to be a large building with a dock for river boats this depiction is applied over top the image in the upper right. The final depiction is located in the lower right corner a sequence of high back chairs in varying colors is placed. This piece is signed in print on the two home depictions and is signed by hand in the lower right corner. This piece is number 4 out of an edition of 20 with the title of the print written in cursive to the lower left corner. Presented behind glass in a gray tone mat and ornate gold tone frame. To the verso, a label from the Benjmans Art Gallery is placed on the bottom of the paper backing as well as an inscription stating the title and artist. A horizontal hanging wire is present and this piece comes ready to hang.
