1967 Moses "Ten Commandments" Palma Statue

A 1967 Moses holding the ‘Ten Commandments’ stone tablets. This mid-century sculpture, made of chalk or plaster, depicts the Jewish Prophet Moses holding the ‘Ten Commandments.’ With a flowing beard, Moses has the holy tablets resting on his knee. Moses’s face is well detailed and he is standing on a square mountainous base. This classic religious sculpture is stamped ‘Marwal Ind. Palma ’67’ on the backside of the base. The bottom securely has felt material attached.

Condition

- repair by elbow area (arm holding the tablets), nicks with small paint loss, pre-owned with appropriate age wear
