Antique Tilt-Top Table with Marquetry by Peter Engel

Item Details

An antique table, circa early 20th-century, from New York furniture manufacturer Peter Engel. The table is labeled on the bottom. The oval top has various inlay and wood veneers depicting an urn with birds and flowers flowing out. Base wood is mahogany. The pedestal is turning with a dropped finial. Legs are cabriole with delicate inlays on the top of the bend. The table has pad feet.

Condition

Some scratches on the legs and pedestal. Legs need some repair. They are not loose but pegs need to be pushed in. There is some slight damage to inlay on one leg.
