Antique Hepplewhite Style Side Table

Item Details

An antique Hepplewhite style side table. The table was constructed out of cherry wood with fruitwood marquetry details on the front. The square top table has two leaves, which are supported by tongue and groove joints leaves are supported by wooden dows. The table has double center drawers with hand hewed dovetails and brass button pulls. The bottoms of the drawers have been replaced with particle board base and back. There are four tapered straight legs that support the table.

Condition

- the top of the table has water marks and the leaves are not flesh with the top; one of the wooden supports for the leaves sticks and there is a hook screwed on under the back lip.

Dimensions

- measurement was given with the leaf down; each leaf measures: 8"; both leaves of the table are raised the width of the table: 32.5".
